Job Profile

  • The candidate must have knowledge and experience in Ocean Freight and Air Freight.
  • The profile will involve recruitment of Sales staff at each Branch location.
  • Will have to devise sales strategies
  • Will have to monitor each branchwise sales performance for development of reporting and MIS system for Sales
  • Assisting Sales people to achieve their targets
  • Reporting will be to Senior Management and Directors

Candidate Profile

  • Must be a Graduate. Post graduation will be an added advantage
  • Must have minimum 10 years of experience in Business Development and Sales
  • Should have handled large and multi location Sales team
  • Should be a livewire Sales person himself and should be able to lead from front
  • Should have his own set of shippers and consignees
  • Should be extremely good in communication and presentation

Designation : Sales Manager- Air Freight

Location: Mumbai

Job Profile

  • Will be responsible for growing the company's Airfreight Business in assigned territory, in accordance with corporate objectives (i.e. revenue & profit targets, product growth initiatives, etc.)
  • Will serve as the sales contact point for prospects. They must also find and develop qualified leads, then convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers
  • Should be highly motivated individual with a strong Airfreight Knowledge capable of developing compelling value propositions that foster strong relationships
  • Identify and establish contacts with potential shippers and consignees
  • Maintain good and professional working relationship with existing and potential customer
  • Proactively respond to sales inquiries from new and existing shippers and consignees
  • Draft out quotations and document customers requirements to ensure such requirements are within the specified scope
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and provide timely sales & marketing strategic information
  • Identify target customers as sales objectives and create sales pipeline
  • Ensure all business transactions meet company P&L objectives
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the department head
  • Negotiating and closing of sales.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelors degree, ideally with major/concentrations in business/marketing, logistics and/or supply chain management, or equivalent degree
  • 5+ years of related field sales experience, with a demonstrable book of business and strong shipper relationships in diversified industries
  • Relevant (functionally specific) job knowledge and experience of Airfreight
  • Source for and build up a pool of potential customer base
  • Must have a network of customers
  • A unique combination of good interpersonal and communications/presentation skills, both written and oral, coupled with a sharp business acumen and consultative sales approach
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work productively both individually and in a team environment
  • Propensity to successfully manage priorities and respond to deadlines ahead of schedule
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
  • Experienced with business operating systems and current industry technologies
